Amanda Bosco – Periodontal Therapist
Amanda has worked in dentistry for 19 years and has been with Drs. Papa and Haskins for 16 of those years. She started as a co-op and went on to be a dental assistant before becoming a hygienist.
Before dentistry, Amanda drove the beverage cart and worked at banquets at a golf course.
What motivates Amanda is being a good role model for her daughters. Professionally, she enjoys the feeling of completing a prophylaxis cleaning for her patients – to her it’s a form of art. She loves educating her patients about how to take better care of their teeth and gums so that they improve their oral – and overall – health.
Amanda’s proudest moments came when she helped a couple of very nervous patients. They were very scared due to previous bad experiences, but she was able to gain their trust – so much that they’re now regular clients!
