Following graduation from dental school, she moved to the triangle area of North Carolina and practiced for 4 years in private practice with the passion for gaining patients trust and making sure all are educated in their own oral health, so that ultimately patients are more comfortable.
During these 4 years she obtained further training in dental sleep medicine and TMJ disorder treatment by completing a mini-residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Shad is a qualified sleep dentist with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is working towards her Diplomate status in dental sleep medicine with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
